What to Bring

As of right now, the forecast for Saturday is for clear skies with a high of 70 and a low of 49. OPI however suggests: "For your comfort, you may want to come prepared for wind, rain, fog, or sunny weather. Layering your clothing can be an effective strategy for the variable climate."

Items to bring along:
TOWELS: OPI does not provide bath towels or wash cloths.
TOILETRIES: Bar of soap, shampoo, toothpaste, medications. If you anticipate needing basics such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or stomach remedies, please bring those as well.
FOOT GEAR: something to hike in/swim in/canoe in if you anticipate partaking in these types of activities.
SWIMSUIT: for lounging in hot springs on Sunday or if you want to join the Polar Bear club in Lake Crescent
SHOWER SHOES: If desired.
RAIN GEAR: Hopefully you won't need this, but a rain jacket can be useful as a windbreaker too - it could get windy on the lake if you participate in the canoeing.
PORTABLE ALARM CLOCK
EARPLUGS

OPTIONAL ITEMS suggested by OPI:
Binoculars
Travel/reading light
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Insect repellent
Camera
Umbrella
Water bottle
Clothes hangers

Pets

We've had some inquiries about pets. Unfortunately due to OPI and National Park Restrictions we can not have any pets on the grounds for Camp Wedding. Our apologies.

Cabin Details

There are enough cabins for everyone to stay in at the wedding venue.  So please don't worry, everyone will have a place to stay!  And we would love it if everyone could stay both nights, Friday and Saturday.

Please be aware that the cabins are quite Spartan. Some contain shared bath/showers in the building, and some require you to venture outside the building and partake in the communal (yet private) bathhouse. This actually works out quite well with our philosophy for the weekend, because we want everyone to hang out, relax, socialize, and experience the outdoors, rather than staying holed up in their rooms.

When we send out invitations, we will include details for cabin reservations.  We will ask that you pay us $30 per person, per night.  Cabin reservations will include sheets and blankets.  You will need to bring your own towels and toiletries.

(We really want everyone to stay on-site in the cabins at OPI.  However, if you simply must have more modern accommodations, we understand, and rooms are available at the nearby Lake Crescent Lodge.)
